Dear teenagers!
I very much want to thank one of the blog readers who wrote to me a few days ago about teenagers who are trying to lose weight at all costs, forgetting about health.
The problem actually affects many people, especially young girls.
Dear Teenagers, this post will be for you! 🙂

I am very glad that you are in the Polish woman’s consciousness as a person promoting a healthy lifestyle. And it’s great that a lot of people, especially women, change their attitude towards themselves.
However, sometimes there is other side to it. I work at school. I’m a psychologist. More and more often i see the girls who started training and diet with you or Mrs. Chodakowska or somebody else. And at some point (in a very simplistic way) they could not say STOP or rational thinking was gone and eating disorders did start.
I would like to suggest that maybe you can also include this subject in your speech, FB, Instagram. Anywhere. You have a great power and influence and it is worth it, in my opinion to refer to this direction. Even just for a moment. I have decided to write to you first and if anything in this topic could be done it would be great.

I know you want to look great and look better than your friends. I am glad that you want to take care of yourself … DO NOT FORGET, however, that everything I encourage you to do and when im trying to motivate you it is an investment in your own health and well-being. It is the foundation and it is the most important thing!
Ok. You will tell me that the dream figure has meaning and influence on the mood … Remember, however, that its achievement should never be the goal itself. It’s just a supplement, and our most important element is our health. I try not to use the word slimming, I never propagate it. I promote healthy, balanced and conscious nutrition and properly tailored training that should now be part of your life. Not just a fashion that passes. Enjoy what you do for yourself and your health, and do not hurt yourself at all costs. Treat it as an investment in the future. Believe me it’s worth it!
Forget about crazy diets that can ruin your body, hunger, or costly “potions” that are supposed to help you lose unnecessary pounds. Constant weight losing will cause great frustration and turn you into an unhappy person.
Why do you want it? It is no easier to live HEALTHY and happily and infect others with your attitude to life :)? Due to malnutrition, drastic diets, and inadequate training, you will be doing more harm than good.
You want to get better body shape?
Eat! Food is the basis and fuel for the body. Do not eliminate foods unless you have recommendations. Your body more than ever needs all the essential nutrients and vitamins for the body. Deliver good quality fuel and start with small steps like regular meals, eliminating processed products, eating a second breakfast of fruit instead of a bar, and instead of two chocolate ice cream scoops choose one sorbet or homemade coconut ice cream. If your weakness is sweets, then only eat homemade foods that contain less sugar and preservatives (lots of inspiration and recipes can be found on my blog). Do not fall into the extreme, and if you fancy occasionally to bite something “not necessarily in line with the rules, give yourself and your head a break – as long as it does not happen too often …;)
Start practicing rationally. Do not throw yourself in the deep water, choose a training that you enjoy doing and that will make you happy. Focus on the correct exercise to be effective and bring only benefits to your body. Do not go every day to the gym, fitness or train in front of TV with your favorite trainer. Remember that your body also needs rest and regeneration.
>Applying the small steps method you will feel satisfied faster than you think and you will be happy with the results achieved. Nothing more motivates on the way to “better me” than little successes.
And there’s no need to stress if losing kilos or centimeters at the waist does not go as fast as you planned. As in the saying haste make waste 🙂
Once and for all forget about the word SLIMMING and start healthy eating and training for pleasure, and the effect will surprise you positively!
>In the meantime … Love yourself with all your heart! a cliche, “sweet”, simple sentence that falls into one ear and falls out the other ear? Definitely do not treat it like that!
Do not compare yourself to others and whether you would like to be like your friend or an inspirational fitness trainer – or a better version of yourself. YOU ARE UNIQUE! you family and friends love you, just the way you are so it’s time for you to love yourself too.
Decide about your health, and I guarantee you will smile more 🙂
