Report from the Camp by Ann – Summer 2017!
We are done with another camp by Ann, always held in the beautiful and charmingly located Center of Japanese Sports and Martial Arts “Dojo Stara Wies”.
Each edition has its own slogan. This time it was: “Think positively, because … why should you think negative!”
As usual with you, it was amazing!
I am very happy to be able to infect all participants with an optimistic approach to hard work and the fight for their health 🙂 As always, everyone did a great job! Each fighter squeezed the last sweat, until the last moment.
This is not the only reason to be happy!
The determination of the players was a great challenge for the whole Healthy Team: Katrin Kargbo, Jakub Głąb, Artur Żółkiewicz and myself. We could not slow down even for a bit, which of course we enjoyed very much 🙂
What did our camp schedule look like?
Each day began with morning warm up. Two of them were accompanied by a team from Nike + Run Club – headed by Jakub Wiśniewski. At 11 o’clock, after a healthy, nutritious breakfast and rest, another challenge was to start the main training. We used equipment such as barbells, medical balls, dumbbells, plates, kettlebells, jumping ropes, TRX, training tapes / bands, rollers and above all the weight of our own body!
Of course, as every year, the whole camp served delicious and healthy meals according to my own recipes. Each participant received a booklet with a detailed camp menu in the welcome pack, so when the return home, they can continue with a healthy plan and prepare own meals just like at the camp.
In the afternoon, lectures on healthy living were waiting for everyone, though not only 🙂
This year a large part of our lectures were devoted to coaching sessions so that no one would lose motivation and use the camp 100% . The lecturers were dr. Patrycja Szachta, Łukasz Sieńczewski (both from the Vitaimmun clinic), Jacek Kucharski and Anna Lewandowska 🙂 Rafał Maserak was our guest and special motivator of this edition.
The day ended with a cherry on top of the cake, but the healthy one… meaning the evening training 🙂
Our working muscles, willingly surrender to the hands of professional masseuses: Marcin Kmita and Kuba Kowalik
Like every camp, all willing participants had the opportunity to use professional equipment to Check the body component with InBody, and at the end of the trip compare your results.
I will say one thing – there were changes. Applause for you!
All the participants showed what they can do, so much! 😉
I am very proud of each of you and I know that although some may still not rest and still feel the pleasant pains of freshly trained muscles, we are all excited to wait for another camp.
Generally I’m hardcore, but when I was saying goodbye emotions took over ;). I heard a lot of warm words and felt a lot of good energy.
Thank you for this time!
I invite you to see the photo gallery made by our camp photographer Adam Mruk.
