I have already written several times about the health properties of pickles. The best are the homemade ones from vegetables and fruits as the only preservative in them is salt.
I have a few culinary favorites, without which I cant imagine autumn season. One of them are edible chestnuts. I love it in any form - whether in the food, baked in the oven, or even in the form of flour :)
Today its pumpkin again- you should use it as much as possible.
Tomatoes! And they come in red, green, yellow – even black! Wild ones, Brandywines, Cherry tomatoes, Big Beefs, Better Boys, Green Zebras and others – there’s so many of them!
I'm back home from another trip, I leave my suitcase wherever - unpacking can wait, my empty stomach can't :)
