3 Steps to Summer Challenge – The Third Step: Beauty Care

Hope you have already found out everything about our new challenge – Three Steps to Summer! It will help us prepare for summer and take care of ourselves, not only in the context of the body. I have prepared three components for you, i.e. the steps, through which we will take care of our activity, as well as diet and care to develop good habits that will guide us even when the summer is over. Are you ready? I am! So here we go with the steps – in this text I will focus primarily on the third one!

 

Step 1: Physical Activity

It’s obvious I couldn’t start with anything else. Briefly – for three weeks, we see each other 5 times a week on LIVE workouts and then in my application, where you will find a detailed training plan for the 3 weeks of the challenge.

We work out regularly! It is not only about achieving our goals, but also about making physical activity an integral part of our day. What is the most important thing? Regularity. At least 20-30 minutes a day!

Exercise helps us to strengthen the body but it is not the only advantage. It is impossible to overestimate how regular physical activity improves our mood! It significantly reduces the risk of low mood and improves it in general. Exercise also helps reduce the level of stress that so often accompanies us every day. 

 

Step 2: Diet

If this word scares you, let me reassure you. These three weeks are intended to teach us that a healthy diet is not only important, but also fully achievable without much sacrifice.What you also get is better well-being and more energy, which we gain by providing the body with the necessary nutrients in the right doses.

We will learn what healthy, balanced nutrition means, but at the same time we will treat ourselves to a sugar detox. For the duration of the challenge, we will try to put aside unhealthy snacks full of refined sugar, and cut out sugar-sweetened beverages, including tea and coffee. What’s more, we will learn the basics of proper supplementation – because it often happens that, even despite a healthy diet, we lack something in the body (I’m looking at you, vitamin D). There is nothing wrong with the correct, balanced supplementation of minerals and vitamins! Finally, we’re going to reinforce the habit I repeat like a mantra because it’s so incredibly important – rehydration. We need water not only for survival, but also for a healthy and full life! We feel water shortages in every possible way, our condition, well-being, concentration, skin, hair, nails, but also the immune, digestive and blood systems suffer without adequate water supply. Thus we lose our strength, which is why rehydration is so crucial! 

 

Step 3: Beauty Care

Let’s now move on to the step I want to focus on the most today. It seems more than obvious – the weather is getting warmer, which means it’s time to start the season for shorts, dresses, short sleeves, and at last also for swimsuits. Would it not be good to enjoy firm and smooth skin that matches a great frame of mind and a dream body? 🙂

This is exactly why body care rituals will be among the habits we will be working on. I’ve got you used to the fact that we usually pay the most attention to the face, but not this time! If we want to feel as beautiful as possible in our own skin, we have to take care of it! Let me explain how to achieve it.

We start in the morning, of course. Those of us who like morning showers (but also the night owls!) should definitely reach for (RE)START, BABY shower gel, which contains a large dose of probiotics. It not only perfectly cleanses the skin and refreshes us with the scent of citrus fruit, but also feeds the naturally occurring beneficial bacteria on the skin. The proper microflora of the skin is its first shield against harmful microorganisms, it allows it to maintain its balance and strengthens it. In addition, the gel moisturizes the skin and brings it wonderful relief!

After the shower we should remember to use the lotion to further protect the skin, strengthen and nourish it. Dry massage, i.e. body brushing, is a wonderful ritual whose roots are often said to have come from Bali. Its rules are quite clear – we use a brush with soft bristles and stroke the skin with it. What do we get in return? First of all, it exfoliates dead epidermis, thanks to which the skin becomes softer and takes on a better color. But the microcirculation stimulated during the massage is also responsible for a healthier shade, thanks to which we oxygenate the cells. The elasticity and firmness of the skin also increases. And at the same time, it is very pleasant. Sometimes it takes a while to get used to this feeling, but take it easy – this is what our beauty step of the challenge is based on!

After the massage, and after washing the brush fibers under warm water, of course, it’s good to treat your skin to something extra. I recommend anti-stretch mark oil GO! OMEGA GO!, because it both reduces the visibility of stretch marks and helps prevent their formation. It improves skin elasticity, intensely moisturizes and strengthens it, increases resistance to stretching and facilitates regeneration.

As a result we develop a new habit in no time and our skin will be forever grateful. Remember that an important part of well-being and mental comfort is a healthy, balanced diet, an appropriate dose of physical activity and the awareness that we care for our body and provide it with proper care. If these three components come together, we will be ready to begin the summer season full of energy and vitality! 😉
