Regenerating baths I’ve been using for years

After a hard day’s work it’s worth taking the time to relax. At such moments the only thing I dream of is a hot bath. Below you will find ideas for regenerating baths that I’ve been using for years. And I recommend them to you as well!

A bath with salts

Bath salt is a real nutrient bomb for our skin. It contains magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, silicon and iodine.

A bath with horsetail

It’s a real detoxification of your body. It detoxifies your skin and provides it with silicon, nickel and gold. In addition, bathing in horsetail decoction helps to remove excess water from the body and effectively combats swelling. What’s more, it helps in the fight against cellulite! Just soak a handful of horsetail in cold water for about 8 hours. Then bring it to a boil and strain into the tub. Next, add warm water and take a bath for about 20-30 minutes. WARNING – check the water temperature before going into the bathtub as the bath shouldn’t be too hot! After bathing, thoroughly rinse and wash your body.

A bath with oat flakes

It replenishes silicon and regenerates the epidermis. In addition, oat flakes have anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties. I recommend using them also for children with psoriasis and eczema problems. Soak a handful of flakes in cold water, stir and cook for about 30 minutes. Strain the infusion into the tub with warm water through a stocking, then tie stocking and put it into the bath. I recommend to use this bath every 2-3 days for about 20-30 minutes. Please note that the bath shouldn’t be too warm. After bathing, just rinse your body.

A bath with thyme

It clears your mind and calms you down. Soak a few handfuls of thyme in boiling water  for about 10 minutes. Then strain it and pour into the tub. Bathe for about 20-30 minutes. The bath shouldn’t be too warm.

A bath with walnut leaves

Itr detoxifies. Prepare in the same way as the bath with thyme. Bathe for 20 -30 minutes. The bath shouldn’t be too warm.

Baths with Siberian thistle

It has the strongest detoxifying properties of all the baths in the list. Boil 100 g of Siberian thistle for about 20 minutes. Strain into the tub and add warm water. The bath should take about 30 minutes and can’t be too warm.

A bath in a solution of magnesium chloride

It provides the body with magnesium and relaxes it. Pour water into the tub. Then stir in two tablespoons of magnesium chloride. The bath should take about 30 minutes and can’t be too warm.
