Appreciation
We like to talk about our goals, dreams, plans… But there’s often some kind of obstacle in the way and it stops us from making the dreams come true. Lack of self-confidence, wrong attitude, complexes…
You all probably know what I mean here. Sometimes we find it hard to appreciate ourselves. We focus mainly on the things we admire in others and at the same time we think we lack those features.
As a teenager, I used to live in Podkowa Leśna and was quite absent-minded… I struggled with the same doubts and complexes as any young girl does, but…
Over time, I gained self-confidence, I realized that I have grown from a small-town girl into a woman who knows what she wants and simply likes and appreciates herself!
What helped me was sport and the experience I gained by building relationships with other women, working with them and motivating each other. Lots of the activities I have participated in have shown me that I am strong.
Would you like to find out how my change began?
I wrote down my strengths and then read the list out loud. In times of doubt, I return to my notes. They remind me that I really have something to like myself for! It is worth trying, see if it will work for you.
I like to learn, talk to inspiring people, make use of coaching sessions, and read a lot. All these things are really helpful throughout this constant process of self-appreciation.
