Christmas Chocolate Mousse
For me, Christmas is a time filled with family warmth, the scent of spices, and the moments celebrated at the table. During this time, I love creating desserts that not only taste great, but also bring to mind the comforting winter vibe. This chocolate and date mousse is my idea for a Christmas dessert – flavorful, velvety, and easy to prepare. It is great as an addition to gingerbread and fresh fruit, or as a dessert on its own served in elegant cups. You can really feel the magic of Christmas with this mouthwatering mousse!
Preparation:
I soaked the dates in hot water for about 10 minutes until soft. Then I heated the coconut milk in a pot, added the oil and chopped chocolate, and stirred over low heat until the chocolate melted. Next, I added the dates, the cranberries and spices and blended until smooth. I put the mousse into a bowl and refrigerated it to cool down.
