bulletproof coffee, now served cold!
I’ve already written about the properties of bulletproof coffee here, but since it’s summer now, it’s time we modified the recipe a bit :). It’s very easy and quick to make.
And you need only three minutes to prepare it.
Also, AeroPress / a strainer, or a coffee filter might come in handy.
Preparation:
In the evening, prepare ground coffee mixed with cold water in a container of your choosing and place it in the fridge for at least 12 hours (up to 24 hours).
Afterwards, take the coffee out and filter it using AeroPress (as pictured). If you do not have such a device, use a strainer with a piece of gauze and a coffee filter. Place them in a separate container and pour the coffee through it. After a few minutes, your concentrate should be ready.
Serve it with a concentrate/cold water ratio of 1:1.
Next, add coconut oil (and, if you like, also clarified butter –I’ve written on its properties HERE) and use a blender to mix it until light froth is observed. Then, add the ice cubes.
Keep what is left from the coffee concentrate in the fridge for up to 1 week.
To make it sweeter, you can add a teaspoon of honey.
Enjoy!
