Basketball in Krakow :)

If you want to practise – do it with THE BEST!

Having been invited by Marcin Gortat, I will take part in a CHARITY MATCH on 19th July in Krakow!!!

The match “GORTAT TEAM vs. POLISH ARMY” will be the culmination of the 8th edition of MARCIN GORTAT CAMP, the event which is aimed at promoting sporty lifestyle among children and teenagers.

The team members, as every year, are of a great interest among all who want to see how sports and stage stars, which are not usually known for chasing the orange ball, perform on court.

The three previous matches of the “GORTAT TEAM vs. POLISH ARMY” event were without doubt a great success of the organizer – MG13 “Mierz Wysoko” Marcin Gortat Foundation. Sports halls were full to the last place, and the whole event was warmly welcomed not only by fans but by the media as well. Not often do fans have a chance to see the best Polish basketball player and his uncommon team performing live in a match with the Polish Army team.

The result of the first match, which took place 3 years ago at Warsaw Torwar Hall, was successful in favour of Gortat Team. The second match, which was played at Sopot Ergo Arena, was won by the Polish Army by one point.

What will the score be this year? Come and see for yourself who is going to triumph in the match number 4! And all this in a friendly family atmosphere during the match with a noble goal lying behind it.

There will be traditionally a Skills Challenge at half-time in which MVP of all this-year Camps will take part. It is worth fighting for as the main prize is participation in an NBA match in the USA!

The finale of Marcin Gortat Camp is a great basketball celebration and a chance to have an excellent fun for entire families. The first attractions will be waiting for fans at 2 p.m. outside the TAURON Krakow Arena, there will be the Polish Army picnic with a military equipment presentation.

All proceeds from the tickets will be donated for statutory objectives of MG13 “Mierz Wysoko” Marcin Gortat Foundation.
