TUNA STEAK

Tuna is a controversial product. There’s heated discussion around it, concerning whether or not it contains mercury.

Indeed, as it is a long-living fish it may absorb more mercury than other fish. Thus, it’s better to eat white tuna than the bluefin tuna – the latter lives longer.

Bluefin tuna is the one we can find in the cans.

It’s really important to have trusted suppliers when buying fish.

I was really feeling like tuna so I decided to make us steaks. It’s not that bad of an idea once in a while. 😛 It still is rich in protein and omega 3 acids. But children and pregnant women shouldn’t eat it.

Wash your fish carefully, then dry it with paper towels. Put it into a bowl with olive oil, salt, red pepper and black pepper. Sprinkle with lemon juice and cover in linseed. Fry on a finely preheated grill pan, on olive oil. Be careful not to overcook it, because it gets dry really quick.
