Today we fight – short but specific workout. Heavy beginning of a week – will it be successful????
TABATA
What is it? Tabata is a four minute , extremely intense interval training . Where Tabata name originated ?It came from the name of a Japanese researcher who has worked with the national Olympic team and who invented and developed the same kind of training.
Interdisciplinary training – It can be used by all athletes and sport enthusiasts who care about their condition or want to lose weight . Properly made tabata improves aerobic ( oxygen ) and anaerobic ( oxygen-free ) efficiency. You should choose exercises involving several muscle groups.
The principle is simple: do as many repetitions as you can of one exercise for 20 seconds , and then you have 10 seconds break . Again, exercise for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. Repeat 8 times. The basic condition for the proper Tabata : do your best ! You burn more than druing an ordinary training , because even after the exercise you are processing fatty acids.
You might need a timer:
You can train in the system of performing one exercise , or you can also use the option , which I propose today:
- Squat , hitting both hands on the floor, jump up
- Mountain climbing
- Abs excercies – pull your knee to the elbow, sideways
- Burpess
Duration: 4 minutes (4 exercises – repeat 8 times, 20 second exercise / 10 second break). Repeat one TABATA 3 times.
