Warming Turmeric & Cardamom Smoothie

When evenings get longer and the temperature outside drops noticeably, it is worth reaching for something that’ll warm us up. I don’t know about you, but I associate autumn with spices such as cinnamon and cardamom. Their unique taste and smell match the season of the year perfectly. As a result of their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, they also strengthen immunity, which is so important throughout this period. That is why today I am giving you an idea of how to use them very easily!

 

Preparation:

I cut the fruit into pieces and blended them with the other ingredients. I used the coconut drink at room temperature and let the spices do their warming job, but you can also heat it up a bit, and it turns out just as yummy in this version!
