Health can be fun
Recently I experienced a very short but intensive Italian holiday in … Warsaw.
I was expected to speak about physical fitness and present short sets of exercises prepared beforehand during workshops organized by Philipiak Milano. This was because the workshops concerned a healthy lifestyle and their program underlined a great importance of combining proper nutrition and exercises on a daily basis. Chef Joseph Seeletso came there with his own set of recipes for nutritious dishes.
Because it is holiday time and the team that organizers invited to the workshops turned out to be contributing willingly – we swapped our roles with Joseph Seeletso :). Master Chef was gracefully demonstrating my exercises and I, with the others, got down to preparing dishes according to his recipes. Of course everything in the way I learnt in Milan: steaming dishes, cooking without salt, frying without fat.
The intention of the workshops – promoting a healthy lifestyle – was motivating us, yet we treated it with humor, so it was a joyful and inspiring time for this reason. Because it is possible to live a healthy life and enjoy it; doing sport and keeping to proper diet should not be treated with grave seriousness, but as part of an everyday routine.
