Chocolate Chia Pudding with Chili & Nuts
Have you read my recent post on the role of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in the diet (HERE)? Chia seeds, which are the main character of today’s recipe, are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids. You can use them not only to prepare puddings, sweet breakfasts (porridge, millet oatmeal), and smoothies, but also sprinkle them on salads, cream soups, and other savory dishes.
Preparation:
I mixed the chia seeds with coconut drink, carob, honey, and chili. I refrigerated the mixture overnight.
When ready, I sprinkled the pudding with chopped nuts 🙂
