Chocolate & Plum Smoothie
Can you already feel the Christmas spirit…? It’s only mid-November, but I admit that I can’t wait for Christmas! This recipe is a small foretaste of what awaits us. Dried fruits have an extremely intense flavor. Remember that they are a great, natural sugar substitute! They can be used successfully in sweet baked goods, homemade pralines, smoothies, and oatmeal 🙂
Preparation:
I poured boiling water over the dried plums and set them aside for about 15 minutes. I drained the plums and blended them with the other ingredients adding a little water.
