Coconut Oatmeal with Tangerines
December is the month when mornings get this special cozy holiday vibe – the cold outside contrasts with the warmth of the house, and the kitchen fills with the scent of winter spices. It is the perfect time to start the day with something warming, filling and full of December flavors. Coconut oatmeal with a hint of cinnamon and juicy tangerines is a recipe that will not only fill you with energy, but also put you in a winter mood.
Preparation:
I heated up the coconut drink in a pot and added the oat flakes. I cooked everything on low heat, stirring until the flakes softened and the whole thing thickened. Then I added the cinnamon, coconut sugar, and coconut flakes, stirring thoroughly to combine all the flavors. When ready, I served the oatmeal in a bowl and decorated it with segments of tangerines.
