Coffee-Banana Smoothie

Is there anything better than iced coffee in the summer? Yes, there is! You know that I like it when food is tasty and healthy, so today I want to share my tried and tested recipe for a quick coffee-banana smoothie, which, apart from its great taste, provides potassium and fiber (you can read more about fiber HERE). You can make it in no time, and when served cold it is in no way inferior to regular iced coffee!

 

Preparation:

I soaked the dates in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Then I drained them and blended them with the rest of the ingredients until smooth. I used chilled coconut drink and chilled coffee – it was just perfect. Optionally, you can also add ice cubes.
