Fish Balls
It’s time for fish to play the main part in our BOOST YOUR HEALTH campaign!
Cod fish balls are another easy, tasty, and healthy meal, this time for lunch. You can find some good ideas on what to serve them with in my app Diet&Training by Ann. You’ll see that a healthy and balanced diet combined with workouts is one of the best things that has ever happened to you 🙂
You probably want to find out which product deserves special attention in the context of boosting your immunity. And it must be the cod. 100g of this fish covers more than a half of an adult’s recommended daily intake of selenium, it is also a good source of vitamin B12, phosphorus, vitamins A and D3, omega-3 fatty acids, and wholesome protein. Fish oil is commonly obtained from cod!
Cod deserves a permanent place on your menu. I list a lot of advantages of including it in your diet, but I think it is good to raise the issue of how selenium itself affects our immunity. As a component of enzymes, it supports the work of glutathione I described earlier. In addition, it is necessary in the process of growth and activity of lymphocytes responsible for the body’s cellular immune response. It consists in the fact that the antibodies participate in the direct elimination of pathogenic antigens. As you can see, food has a lot to offer you. Get the most out of it, and your body will thank you for that!
Enjoy!
Preparation:
I soaked the roll in water, added the remaining ingredients and chopped parsley. Then I blended it all and formed balls. I steamed them over vegetable stock. You can serve them with anything you like 🙂
