Homemade Snickers Ice Cream
June is exceptionally hot this year. And the best cure for such scorching temperatures is ice cream. How about snickers ice cream but in a version that’s healthier and just as tasty?
Preparation:
I rinsed the groats once or twice under cold running water and cooked it according to the recipe on the packaging. In the meantime I soaked the dates for about one hour in hot water. Then I blended all the ingredients. I transferred the cream into small tubs, put in the sticks and sprinkled the surface with granola or crushed nuts. I put the dessert into the freezer for a few hours to cool.
