Traditional ”Kutia” with millet
Kutia is one of the most popular Christmas dishes.
It is a sweet dish, which is a mixture of poppy and wheat, but of course I took the original kutia for a “workshop” and I made a gluten-free delicacy with millet;)

Alternatively, you can add other dried fruits: goji berries, cranberries, apricots, kiwi, apple or different kind of nuts: pecans, pine nuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, etc.
Preparation:
Cook millet with water. Cook until soft and until it will absorb all the water. Set aside, keeping under cover. In the meantime, soak the poppy seeds in hot coconut milk – for about 1 hour. Then cook it for about 1 hour over low heat.
Soak all the dried fruits in boiling water – for about 15 minutes, then chop finely dates, prunes and crushed and walnuts.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, stir and pour honey.
