Mother’s Day. Moms for Moms.
For Moms.
Mom is a peculiar profession.
Works 7 days a week, 3 shifts.
Doesn’t take a day off and keeps working even while on holiday.
Doesn’t even get paid for overtime.
Holds the most responsible position in the world as any mistakes may have a negative impact on the innocent and unaware child.
She gathers knowledge from her own experience because there is no such subject at schools as “parenting”.
She combines many roles:
supports like a friend,
nurses like a doctor,
comforts like the best motivator and coach, keeps fingers crossed like the most faithful fan,
teaches like the best teacher,
gets involved like the best psychologist,
She is the only teacher in the world who must teach everything. And cannot fail you for lack of homework.
Forgives all offences, no matter how high they are.
Chooses the child, and often her husband, job and other duties, over herself.
And the most amazing thing is she bears no grudge and is content with the best award in the world – unconditional love of her little baby and then also gratefulness when the child grows up.
I am grown up. And you too. So let’s thank our Moms because today is their day.
For giving us our life.
For trying even when they didn’t know how.
For protecting us from their tears, though life used to be tough.
For teaching us many aspects of life so that we wouldn’t have to make their mistakes.
For being right when they said: “you’ll see when you become a mother”.
So that they know we remember, we are grateful, we love and send our greetings!
Take care dear Moms!
Moms for Moms!
