My Winter Care Routine in 5 Steps
All my friends and followers know that skincare is extremely important to me. I make every effort to ensure that my skin is always well taken care of and bright. That is why, apart from a proper diet and regular exercise, I always carefully choose cosmetics for everyday care. If you just follow a few simple rules, it is possible to keep your skin moisturized and beautiful even on cold days! And now I’m going to prove it to you: check out these 5 indispensable steps of my winter skincare routine!
There is no doubt that winter is not easy for our skin as it has to cope with really difficult conditions. Changing temperatures, heating, polluted air: all this puts a heavy strain on any skin. Our priority should now primarily be protection against drying, i.e. deep moisturizing. If you don’t want winter to damage your skin, it’s enough to follow just a few simple steps.
Step 1 – Moisturizing to the Full
I start my morning skincare with the micro-exfoliating, cleansing Absolute pure(ness) foam which effectively removes dust, heavy metals and environmental pollutants from the skin, while maintaining the hydrolipid balance. In the next step, I apply a few drops of very light Very Superberry oil to the dry, but still slightly damp skin on my face, neck and cleavage. This cosmetic slows down the aging process, brightens discolorations, strengthens and revitalizes the skin. When the skin has absorbed the oil, I apply the ultra-moisturizing adaptogenic cream Smart Splash, which, thanks to its innovative formula, provides multi-level hydration. I adjust the sequence of Very Superberry and Smart Splash to what my skin needs at the moment. If you notice that your skin absorbs the oil more slowly, you can reverse the order! You can also mix them together in the palm of your hand, it’s a good trick to save a few precious minutes in the morning.
Step 2 – Fruit Protected Lips
In winter, the delicate skin of the lips is especially prone to dryness. Let’s be frank and admit it, who hasn’t experienced chapped and cracked lips at least once? In order to properly care for them, I do not part with my lipcare kit. An important step is the Kissing me softly peeling, which provides the lips with softness, smoothness and multi-level nutrition. I do it most often in the evening but I also sometimes make time for it in the morning. Usually, 3-4 applications a week are enough, although I adapt it to what my lips need. Immediately after the peeling, and regularly during the day, I use the Great-full lips! nourishing serum, which intensively nourishes the skin and is an invaluable remedy for irritated and dry lips. The serum also provides great protection throughout the day so I always have it in my pocket or purse. It is also a deeply regenerating mask for the night: just apply a lightly thicker layer before bedtime!
Step 3 – Hair That Isn’t Afraid of Any Elements
Changes in temperature and air humidity make our hair vulnerable to dryness and static electricity. A simple hat can often be enough to make matters worse: one that is not breathable, too tight or made of rough fabric that can damage your hair. In this case, it is crucial to maintain an appropriate level of hydration. During this period, I use the Phlov regeneration kit for colored hair on a daily basis. If you have colored hair, this set is an easy choice for you, because it also prevents color loss and restores the natural shine of your hair. Step 4 – Sleep, Sleep, Regenerate
I can’t imagine ending the day without proper skincare before bedtime. Once I’ve thoroughly cleansed my face with Absolute pure(ness) foam, I always use the Kisses from the moon intensely rejuvenating and regenerating night mask. It restores the physiological circadian rhythm of my skin and eliminates signs of fatigue, thanks to which my skin always looks rested and relaxed in the morning. I complete my evening care routine with the rejuvenating Newborn Star booster with bakuchiol and vitamin C, which improves skin density, increases its elasticity, smoothness, and hydration level.
Step 5 – Home SPA — Precious Moments for Yourself
