Let's warm up a bit during this cold time and add some Indian spices to regular vegetables. It will taste like sun and we don't have a lot of it nowadays. Let the sun shine on you from the plate :)
Right after I posted about pickles I got loads of questions on how to use pickled vegetables. They can be used in salads, soups - similarly to pickled cucumbers or cabbage.
We tend to forget about the nutritional factors of our Polish potatoes. That's a shame because they're a valuable source of vitamins and minerals.
I announce here: watermelon is the king of August! The Sun is not giving up, so let’s keep on being friends with watermelon, perhaps it may reign also in September :).
Why wonderful? Because the spices I used to make this salad are the best anticancer ones.
It’s much easier to start a healthy eating mode in the summer. There are plenty of colourful and aromatic vegetables and fruit.
We should eat more fruit because the weather is hot, so it is good to cool the body in this way. It is best to eat fruit alone or in salads and as juice. But remember, do not add sugar!
