Herrings with nuts and spices

Many people can not imagine Christmas without herrings.

I  will also serve herrings to my guests this year , but this time with nuts. The recipe is simple so no one should have a problem with preparing it.

Herrings with nuts

Preparation:

Spread washed and dried slices of herrings in a bowl. Mix the ingredients for a marinate in a cup. Add herrings and throw in the chopped onion. Place in the fridge and let it set for about 24 hours.

At the end prepare the liquid topping, with crushed walnuts and the rest of the ingredients. Add it on top of the herrings and place in the fridge.
