To all active mothers
Recently I received several e-mails with questions about physical activity during breast-feeding baby. Can you run? Roller skating? Exercise?
You can run, you can practice. Exercise increases the secretion of prolactin, which enhances milk production. Of course, immediately after childbirth do not try to compete in the marathon – the body is weakened and needs time to get back to balance physiological and biomechanical. Effort should be so easy to dose, keeping in mind the irrigation of the body during exercise and after it. Be sure to take care of a good and comfortable sports bra that will support and amortize your breast and of course comfy shoes.
After a workout, wait half an hour before feeding your child.
I wish you and your little ones lots and lots of health!
