Turkey with Spinach and Vegetables
Are you looking for an idea for a quick, high-protein dinner? You’ve come to the right place! Turkey, accompanied by a lot of vegetables, is the perfect meal for the spring season as it is light and filling at the same time. A mixture of herbs and spices enhances the flavor of the dish, flaxseed oil provides healthy fatty acids and facilitates the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Pumpkin seeds provide zinc, and a mix of vegetables in the form of tomatoes, spinach and zucchini, is a great source of fiber. A mixture of flavors and nutritional values at the highest level, and at the same time so easy to make!
Although I prepared this recipe for dinner, it will also be great as a quick, light lunch, post-workout meal or barbecue dish. You can have it warm or take it to work as lunch. Which option do you choose? 🙂
Preparation:
I seasoned the meat with basil, oregano, salt, pepper, turmeric and grilled it on hot fat until golden brown. I mixed the spinach with halved tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes cut into strips and grated zucchini. I put the meat on the salad, sprinkled the whole thing with oil and topped with pumpkin seeds.
