WE’RE GETTING FAT! ;)
Late fall is awful ;). And winter is just around the corner. I’ve already gained 2kg and it probably isn’t all.
So what? I’m alive and well!
Why do we put on weight in winter? Because our organisms behave different.
- Regardless of the supplementation, my body gets less vitamin D than during spring or summer. Some days are so dark that there is no chance to supply our organisms with natural vitamin D.
- My everyday diet is different than in summer. Our organisms need more fat – it probably is a leftover from the past.
- Serotonin level decreases in November and December. As it is the contributor to feelings of well-being and happiness, we need to boost our mood with sweets.
- Melatonin level increases as there is almost no sunlight. And when melatonin increases – appetite is increased too.
My sixpack is gone. My organism needs rest. I try to listen to my body, eat reasonably, exercise. I am still happy even though I gained weight.
By the way, I would like to remind my young readers of something: let your organisms mature. Don’t over exercise, don’t try to look like thirty-something athletes or the skinniest girl in your class. We’re all different – all beautiful. I’m fit, because I spend a lot of time training, I’m a professional athlete. When you’re not – you just need an hour of exercise, 3-4 times a week and you’ll already see the effects. Over-exercising is dangerous.
I wish you a lot of sunny days!
