Self-confidence

It’s worth looking at yourself. It’s worth thinking of how long this apathy is going to last.

Believe in yourself – it’s one of those sentences that is often heard and the one that has no meaning, it is a banality that is easy to say but hard to make it work.

If a person sees themselves as a set of imperfections, they have no foundation to believe in themselves. People all around seem to be wiser, prettier, more effective. There’s no reason to “believe in yourself”, so such a person has no chance for being happy. Sometimes he or she doesn’t even dare to dream, because dreams will never come true anyway. It’s a vicious cycle which only proves that it is not worth dreaming. Contact with other people it limited to necessary professional/school meetings or chit-chats with similar pessimists. It’s getting more and more sad.

And whether you really want to stay in the stagnation phase. It’s surely safe but gloomy.

Well, It’s rather not possible to build your confidence only theoretically, without taking up any action. The first steps will be definitely difficult, because every man is afraid of changes, failure or make his self-assessment dependent on others’ opinions (sometimes made-up). But how much fun such a first step can give you! Even with such a simple decision as taking up workouts. Imagine the first run/walk. Those emotions. I managed! I’m great! And it starts going this way, further steps are bolder, satisfaction bigger, happiness immeasurable. People all around react with smiles, good energy is exchanged, and you feel happy.

Make yourself wiser, stronger and happier. Step by step. If not you, who then?

Start to change right now this weekend! I keep my fingers crossed!
