We should eat more fruit because the weather is hot, so it is good to cool the body in this way. It is best to eat fruit alone or in salads and as juice. But remember, do not add sugar!

Today, a salad with watermelon.
Instructions:
Cook the quinoa and let it cool down. Meanwhile, cut the watermelon, chop the spinach and mint. Put it all in one bowl. In another bowl mix yoghurt, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and spices. Add the sauce to the salad.
It’s perfect on hot days!

Watermelon has diuretic properties. It is recommended for people with kidney diseases.
Watermelon is NOT for diabetics!
Watermelon is low in calories ( 30 kcal / 100 g), nonetheless it is a concentrated source of carbohydrates – high Glycemic Index = 75, therefore, it quickly raises blood sugar. There are 6.20 g of so-called “bad” simple sugars in each 8 g of carbohydrates in watermelon. People who want to lose weight should remember about it.
