There will be a book :)
I’ve finished work on a new book! It is coming to bookstores in a few weeks. It’s a sizeable compilation of recipes for healthy meals that are built around various ingredients, such as vegetables, meat, and groats.
You will also find recipes for salads and soups. Plus, of course, cocktails, which I’ve come to love dearly, because they are light, delicious, and very rich in nutritious ingredients.
I thought it worthwhile to share my culinary ideas with you because I still happen to hear that it is very difficult to stick to a healthy regime when a person is busy and doesn’t have time to experiment in the kitchen. Sure – it’s easier to buy a sweet roll than to make a salad. But is it really worth it to stuff yourself with a roll or bun full of wheat flour, sugar, and fat which is bad for you?
I hope that such a large collection of recipes, which you can always have within reach, will cut the list of your excuses down to just a few emergencies and encourage you to have fun in the kitchen!
These recipes can either be followed closely, or you may treat them as an inspiration. Sometimes you ask me about substitutes of various raw materials that I use when preparing dishes, which appear later on the blog. Frankly speaking, rarely do I know how to answer these questions. Since I have used this kind of flour, it is difficult for me to say whether using a different one will produce a similar result. But what are experiments for? Scores of excellent and famous dishes have been created precisely because of the mistakes made in the process, or a lack of a certain product and replacing it with another one that was simply close at hand.
It is my great hope that these recipes will be of use to you when you want to you fill your lunchbox – or a second breakfast box – with healthy meals. While at work, at school, or on the road, it is so easy to justify taking a little break from a healthy diet. It continues to be the Achilles heel of many people who have just started leading a healthy lifestyle. Meanwhile, all you need to do is just spend 15 minutes of the evening on the day before to prepare a colorful and aromatic lunch set for your box.
I’m looking forward to the first copy of the book :)!
