Chocolate Millet Dessert
The time for groats is still on! I’ve recently shared with you an idea for sweet buckwheat porridge (the recipe is HERE). And today it’s time for millet. It is much more delicate in taste than buckwheat, making it even easier to use in sweet recipes. However, it has won my heart not only with its taste, but also the wealth of nutritional properties. It is rich in B vitamins, phosphorus, zinc, and silicon. This healthy mix of nutrients has a miraculous effect on the condition of your hair and nails! In addition, millet is gluten-free, easy to digest and is a perfect ingredient for children’s meals. Speaking of kids, is there a better way to smuggle healthy products than a chocolate dessert?
Preparation:
Before cooking, I rinsed the groats under running cold water and cooked it according to the recipe on the packaging. In the meantime, I soaked the dates in boiling water and set them aside for about 15 minutes. I melted the chocolate in a water bath. I blended the cooked groats with the addition of coconut drink, chocolate and drained dates. Ready! If you feel like it, you can also serve this dessert with fresh fruit.
