Christmas Date Cake

It’s no secret I am a huge fan of dates and I openly admit it. I will always keep them in my kitchen and in my purse as a small, energetic snack. This time I decided to show you dates in a slightly different setting – in the form of a cake. Their taste is goes perfectly well with almonds and linseed, resulting in a delicious, sweet cake full of nutritional values, including incredibly important fatty acids of plant origin. Your nervous system will thank you for it 🙂 and your stomach, full of heavy Christmas meals, will be grateful, too!

 

Preparation:

I ground the almonds and the flax seeds. I put the dates into a bowl, stirred it agave syrup, oil, plant-based drink and blended until smooth. Then I transferred the mixture into a tin and baked at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
