Christmas. Spiced Pear Jam

Christmas is round the corner and soon we’ll wind up in our kitchens preparing delicacies for the Christmas table. How about Christmas jam? You can serve it with cakes or just eat on its own as a yummy, healthy dessert 🙂 Naturally, I had to add some spices to give the jam the unique festive taste and flavour. At Christmas I use them to the full!

 

Preparation:

I melted the oil in a pan, added the sugar and waited for it to melt, too. I put the peeled and cut pears into a pot, added a little water and cooked. Then I transferred them to the sugar and stewed a bit more with the lid on. Next, I put in the spices and blended the pears until smooth. In the end I sprinkled the jam with a bit of lemon juice.
