Coconut and Almond Chocolate-Covered Balls
You often ask me what to do when you suddenly crave something sweet. You know that I do love sweets. When I have such an opportunity, I try to prepare sweets on my own, using healthy, nutritious ingredients (such as, for example, nuts, seeds or dried fruit), which I also encourage you to do. Below you will find a recipe for delicious homemade almond-coconut balls!
Preparation:
I poured boiling water over the dates and almonds and set them aside for about 1.5 hours. Then I blended the drained dates and almonds with the addition of coconut oil and desiccated coconut. I formed balls from the mixture and poured chocolate dissolved in a water bath over them. Finally, I sprinkled the balls with a bit of freeze-dried strawberries and refrigerated them.
