Cream of Cauliflower and Turmeric Soup

I have another recipe for you and this time it’s for quick and tasty cream soup. It owes the amazing flavor and beautiful color to turmeric while cauliflower plays the main part ? You can use sweet potatoes instead of ordinary ones. The orange color will be even more intense.

 

Preparation:

I heated the clarified butter in a pot. I fried the chopped onion a bit, added chopped garlic and fried for about 2-3 minutes. I divided the cauliflower into florets and diced the potatoes. Then I put them into the pot with onion and garlic, poured in the stock and simmered over low heat until the vegetables were tender. Finally, I added some cream, spices, mixed everything and blended until smooth ?
