Hair Care – Home Remedies

Autumn, winter, frost, hats, house heating … These are only some of the factors that may negatively affect the condition of your hair. Therefore, special care is required during this period. I do not hide that this problem also concerned me. I used the past tense, luckily 🙂 In my case, my hair has been in very good condition for several years. Why? I believe that diet is crucial. In today’s post, I will tell you some of my tricks for the daily care of hair and scale 🙂

Diet and hair

The basis of the diet should be balancing the macronutrients: proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Remember to consume whole-grain cereal products, mostly in the form of groats, and less often bread or pasta. Equally important are regular meals that will prevent the body from storing calories consumed as fat. If you eat regularly, you will “program” your metabolism. This practice also helps to care for the skin, hair and nails.

In everyday nutrition, we must not forget about proper supplementation and products rich in vitamins and minerals. These include B vitamins, zinc and magnesium, which are responsible for strengthening not only the hair roots, but their entire structure as they stimulate growth and prevent them from falling out. Of course you will find them in products consumed every day. Above all, choose those that have not undergone additional technological processes. The more natural the product, the better the effect its consumption will bring 🙂 I have listed examples of sources of individual ingredients below:

Apart from diet and supplementation, I want to share my ideas for hair care which will help you provide it with comprehensive treatment 🙂

Shea butter mask

Wash your hair with your favorite gentle shampoo, dry with a towel, spray your hair from the scalp to the very ends with a vitalizing MINERAL SHOT PHLOV toning mist, then spread unrefined shea butter (previously heated in your hands) on the hair from half their length to the ends. To increase the effectiveness of the procedure, put on a plastic cap, wrap a towel around your head and keep it for about 20 minutes. After this time, wash your hair with shampoo and apply your favorite conditioner.

Shea butter is ideal for hair damaged by bleaching, when it’s dry and lacks shine. You will get the best effect after several applications. It is rather a complementary treatment, not for everyday use, so as not to burden the hair.

Mask with castor oil

Ingredients:

  • 2 yolks,
  • 3 teaspoons castor oil,
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

Mix the ingredients and put the mask on your hair, try to avoid the scalp. Cover your head with a cap, wrap a towel around your head (to increase the temperature and the effectiveness of the treatment). Keep it for about 20 minutes and wash your hair.

Mask with olive oil

Ingredients:

  • 2 yolks,
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil,
  • a few drops of vitamins A and E.

Combine the ingredients and put the mask on your hair trying to avoid the scalp. Put on a cap and a towel (to increase the temperature and increase the effectiveness of the treatment). Keep it for 20 minutes and wash your hair.

Egg shampoo which strengthens your hair

Ingredients:

  • 2 yolks,
  • 1 egg white,
  • tablespoon honey,
  • one lemon, juiced.

Combine the ingredients, rub into your hair and rinse with lukewarm water. Egg shampoo is great especially when your hair is weak, dull, dry, straw-like, and a little oily at the base.

A moisturizing gloss mask

Ingredients:

  • birch water,
  • castor oil,
  • essential oils: thyme – 2 drops, cedar tree – 2 drops, lavender – 3 drops, rosemary – 3 drops,
  • 0,5 teaspoon jojoba oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of grape seed oil.

Combine the ingredients and put the mask on your hair trying to avoid the scalp. Put on a cap and a towel (to increase the temperature and increase the effectiveness of the treatment). Leave it in for 20 minutes and wash your hair with gentle shampoo.

Trick by Ann!

Each of the treatments discussed above can be enriched with the vitalizing MINERAL SHOT toning mist. Yes, it is a face product, but its ingredients are also wonderful in hair care! The mist is enriched with  magnesium and silicon bioferments that prevent excessive breakage of the hair shaft. In addition, the complex of 5 bioferments has smoothing properties for hair cuticles.⠀

That’s not all! There is also a molecular complex of GLUCOSE and XYLITOL in the mist, which moisturizes hair in two ways: ⠀

  • SURFACE – often removed during excessive drying,
  • DEEP – in the cuticle core.

Hair becomes stronger, more moisturized, and resistant to external factors. As a result, you can naturally improve the appearance of your hair! Want to give it a try? Or maybe you have your own methods for beautiful hair? Can’t wait to read your ideas! 🙂

PS. I would like to add that the above post didn’t appear without a reason – soon news in hair care from Phlov 🙂
