Balance is the state in which we feel best. We find inner peace within us when, despite an intense lifestyle, stress, and rush, we are able to consciously meet our needs, accept feelings and pursue our goals. Why is it so important? How to achieve it? That’s what the latest article in our series „The Road to Health. Did you know that…?” is about ?

 

People who listen attentively to their own needs and never forget who they are use their energy doing what they really care about. They do not let the fears or opinions of others take it away from them. They take wise advice into account, but make their own decisions, always being in harmony with themselves. They are consistent thanks to self-esteem which I wrote about HERE.

 

I know that for many people focusing on their own needs is not easy. People with low self-esteem can easily become negatively affected by others, they control themselves, their behavior and what they say because they do not feel confident in any situation, they constantly try to protect themselves against some threat, which in fact … exists only in their heads!

 

Self-awareness is essential. Being aware is being bold. I know it is not easy, but we should try to do it in order to help ourselves and others. There is nothing more important than feeling at ease. Let’s not confuse it with being passive or with stagnation – inner peace is a state that will enable us to live fully, no matter if we want to rest or actively carry out daily tasks and take on new challenges. Each of us has our own potential and strengths that should be developed.

 

Inner peace is our basis. A safe haven which can help us achieve our full potential! ?
