Raspberry and beetroot cocktail
Today it’s tasty and quick cocktail for everyone. What delicacies did I use to prepare it?
On the first place you will find raspberries. I will briefly recall what features they hide:
Their compounds exhibit a wide range of effects, including antitumor, antimicrobial, antiviral, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Raspberries are a source of vitamin C, B vitamins, including folate. We will also find vitamin E and K, quercetin, which exhibits anti-allergy, inhibits the release of histamine, manganese beneficial for energy metabolism of the body and the nervous system, potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium. Lutein, which protects the eye from the effects of oxidative stress, often contributes to other diseases such as atherosclerosis, stroke and neurodegenerative diseases (ex Parkinson’s disease).
The next ingredient in my cocktail are beetroots. I added Lio Shake because it is an easy and perfect option for cocktails.
Beetroots are a great source of B vitamins, especially folate, and potassium, phosphorus and iron. Its pro-health properties also contain the presence of nitrates, which are converted into nitric oxide in the body. Lyophilized powdered beetroot is a kind of concentrate that has approximately 10 times the content of vitamins and minerals than its fresh counterpart.
The other ingredients can be found in the recipe below. Blend it all and enjoy
