Millet Oatmeal with Orange Caramelized in Spices

Protein, fiber, B vitamins, magnesium – you can find all this in my favorite millet oatmeal, which is a naturally gluten-free product. Add some orange, spices, honey and, of course, nuts: choose walnuts this time, a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids.

Preparing this millet oatmeal requires a bit more time, but if you want to feel the real, warming flavors of autumn, go for it! 🙂

Preparation:

I soaked the raisins in water. Then I rinsed the groats under cold running water and cooked them in coconut drink following the recipe on the package. I stirred in the spices and grated ginger. Next, I peeled and cut the orange into wedges,  heated the honey in a pan and fried the fruit on both sides for about 4-5 minutes. I placed the caramelized orange wedges on the millet oatmeal and topped it with drained raisins and chopped nuts.
