AN AFTERNOON SNACK: MILLET PANCAKES WITH HOMEMADE NUTELLA

Is there anyone in the world who doesn’t feel like nutella pancakes from time to time? Probably not 🙂

I traveled back in time, to my childhood memories and made those myself. The healthy way obviously!

Two different flavours of nutella to choose from!

Nutella no. 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 small bananas
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • 2 spoons of cocoa (80%) or carob
  • a hint of lemon

I mixed it all.

Nutella no. 2

Ingredients:

  • 8 dates
  • 150 ml of rice milk
  • half a bar of dark chocolate or 3 spoons of cocoa
  • juice of half a lemon
  • a hint of chilli

Boil the dates in milk. Melt chocolate (or use cocoa) and mix it all.

MILLET PANCAKES

Ingredients:

  • a glass and a half of boiled millet
  • 1 glass of coconut milk (if it’s too thick – add some water, batter’s consistency should be like for regular pancakes)
  • 5 spoons of potato or coconut flour
  • 4 spoons of coconut oil or clarified butter
  • 1 egg
  • a hint of himalayan salt

I fried the panckes on medium heat, covered.

(Keep in mind that one pancake takes about 8 minutes to be ready. It should be kept on one side for a while and then turned).

The first one may not be perfect ;p but waiting for the next ones is worthwhile :).

You can eat them after a training or as an afternon snack.

Yummy
