„Rafaello” by Ann

Being a huge fan of power balls, I feel obliged to provide you with new recipes for this delicious treat. Today I prepared a Rafaello-like version 🙂 How about a Sunday afternoon filled with coconut aroma? To me it sounds (and tastes!) excellent! Bon Appetit! 🙂

 

Preparation:

I soaked the dates in hot water. I rinsed the millet groats twice in running water and cooked in coconut milk (I added a bit of water). I cooked it until the groats absorbed all the milk and then let it cool. Then I mixed the groats with the dates, spices, coconut paste, and vanilla extract. I rolled balls with one almond inside each one. At the end, I coated them with shredded coconut and refrigerated overnight.
