Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Hummus, vegetable spread based on chickpeas, is an excellent appetizer. You can simply serve it with fresh vegetables (cucumbers, peppers, carrots) cut into sticks, or with bread. Have you tried making hummus at home? The recipe is really simple and the taste is amazing. Roasted pepper gives a truly distinct flavor. Such hummus can be stored in the fridge for a few days, eaten as a snack, or with bread if you prefer a more traditional approach ?
Preparation:
I seeded the peppers, put the peppers into an ovenproof dish and roasted them for about 30 minutes at 200°C. I blended the roasted peppers with the chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, water, tahini, salt, pepper, and sweet paprika until smooth.
I drizzled some olive oil over the hummus before serving, sprinkled it with chopped chives and a pinch of chili ?
