Broccoli salad with pomegranate

Intense green of broccoli and deep red of pomegranate pulp – I like strong colours 🙂

Broccoli contain sulforaphane – a powerful anti-oxidant, so eating it we prevent cancer. Pomegranate is the fountain of youth – it’s one of the healthiest fruit. The salad I’m going to recommend today is perfect for diabetics.

I washed the broccoli and divided it into florets, then I steamed them. Using oil, vinegar and balsamico I made the sauce. I mixed washed lamb’s lettuce with cooled pomegranate pulp, sprouts, almonds and the sauce in a salad-bowl.
