Spiced Pumpkin & Banana Mousse
It’s this time of the year again! The glow of Christmas lights, the smell of spices and the warmth emanating not only from freshly baked dishes. I love it! I’m sure it’s not just me. Christmas is just around the corner, but I am already eager to make my time more pleasant with flavors that make waiting for the first star even more pleasant. One of them is this mousse, the recipe for which I want to offer you today!
It is not only a delicious idea for breakfast, a snack or a healthy dessert, but also the richness of valuable nutrients, such as antioxidants contained in spices, fatty acids in chia seeds, or fiber in oat flakes. Each of these ingredients will have a positive effect on health, from strengthening the immune system to support the digestive system!
Preparation:
I steamed the pumpkin until it was al dente. I soaked the oat flakes in hot water for 10 minutes. Then I melted the clarified butter in a pot, added the pumpkin and banana and stewed the whole thing for about 2 minutes. I added spices: turmeric, cinnamon, grated ginger, lemon juice and vanilla extract. I blended everything, added chia seeds and mixed. I put the porridge in a cup and decorated it with the mousse.
