Stop for a moment….

Stop! Stop for a moment… Nowadays, rush is an inherent part of our lives, but try to sit down for a moment and think if the pace you impose on yourself is really necessary.

Or could it be that you will do everything you’ve planned much faster when you’re calm and well-balanced. Try to get some time for yourself in the multitude of everyday duties. Charge your batteries while you relax, minimize the nervous rush. Think how much time you can win and how many problems you can avoid when you’re in a rush and don’t forget where you put your keys or if the door is locked and the iron’s switched off… When we pause for a moment, it helps to focus, to see what’s around us and what we often forget to appreciate. In our hectic life we also often forget about ourselves, lose self-confidence, our life becomes chaotic.

What should we do for ourselves?

TAKE A DEEP BREATH

Lower your arms, free yourself from tension. Feel how your body relaxes from the fingers and toes through legs, arms and head. Swim away and feel the warmth from the inside, listen to your heart beating louder and louder.

LOVE

Think about the person who loves you is fond of you. Look at them, feel their love and all the good feelings they have for you. Remember that you are loved appreciated. Think who you want to say ‘thank you’ and ‘I love you!’ to. See and appreciate the qualities you haven’t noticed before and always have positive feelings about this person. Love them and care about them.

HAPPINESS

Remember a happy moment from your childhood… You’re riding your bike and smiling because you’ve just reached your destination. Imagine there’s a more self-confident version of yourself sitting in front of you. You are here, become this person, emanate charisma, you now have more passion and power, freedom of action… Think about the situations when you need more confidence, imagine everything is going your way.

SELF-CONFIDENCE

Whatever happens, remember that you act, express yourself and have passions. Your mind will find a way to overcome obstacles. You are talented and like challenges,  you grow stronger, wiser and take joy in your achievements and experience.

It may sound like a cliché but believe me, positive attitude will yield good results.

ACCEPT YOURSELF

Give yourself love and care for your own health, too. Imagine looking at yourself in the mirror – smile to yourself.

  • Visualize your life, yourself feeling good in your own new skin. What do you think of yourself, what do you say when you see yourself in the mirror – feel the freedom to act and be confident. You are beautiful!
  • Remember the tale about the ugly duckling? Trust yourself, you can give the world something good, you are positive, smiling, you love, give energy to your family and children, you can overcome the obstacles that come your way. You will adapt to new challenges and overcome them anytime, anywhere!
  • Enjoy every moment, imagine you are watching a film and you play a part in it. You can see your past successes and the ones ahead of you. Focus and take on the character from the screen, believe in yourself, think what you would like to see happening in the film, boost your self-confidence, think who’s around you, who supports you, who’s always with you. Focus on this person as they give you great love, warmth, calm and safety. Think which feeling is important to you.
  • Think about something nice that happened to you lately.
  • Find joy in the relationships you have, the moments that happen, the coffee you had with your loved one and the breakfast you had together. Rejoice… feel the warmth inside, focus on your breath. Feel blissful and safe.
  • See for yourself that the motivation to achieve your goal is growing. Remember when you made the decision to change your life and when you had that motivation. Think how much better your life could be with the next dose of motivation and confidence. Imagine how many things can change when you boost your self-confidence!
  • Imagine that everything works out according to your plan and feel the will to act!
