Women’s Day. Today we talk self-acceptance

Women love, connect, create, build, help, support, work, teach, fight… I could go on like that forever because we, women, combine many roles and hold numerous positions while fulfilling a huge amount of everyday duties.

However, most of all, we have the power that we often forget about or simply… we got used to it and so it’s become almost invisible. The power which has blended in our everyday life, which has become something usual. But… it is thanks to that power that we are able to endure more, go further, achieve what we dream about.

That’s why we should try to remember about ourselves on this special day. Let’s find the power to love ourselves again and not consider it selfish. It’s “only” (or so much as) acceptance. We often don’t let ourselves be loved.

By love for myself I mean full acceptance. What often seems unattractive to us, makes us unique and extraordinary! Let’s appreciate this value.

When we think about love, we always think about our loved ones.

Women’s Day is a good opportunity to think what we really are like and not how others see us.

Let’s ask ourselves these questions: What do we want? What can we do for ourselves? How can we look after ourselves? What more do we need to be happy? What can we do to achieve this happiness?

Next, let’s try to look for answers. Most of all by giving ourselves a chance.

When we show respect to ourselves, we send the message to the people around us how we want to be treated. Remember about it.

Today is the perfect day to start to appreciate yourself, to be proud of yourself, to take care of yourself while keeping in mind that this is the basis upon which you can build your life balance and harmony.

That’s what I wish us all on Women’s Day.

One more thing! Find a little time for yourself today. Let’s do something you don’t usually have time for. Let it be a long, hot bath with an interesting book in your hand, a walk, or a workout. Something that will bring you joy, that will let you be just with your own self, something that will remind you how wonderful it is to be a woman.
