You often ask me what to eat before and after a training. Some of you probably don't have enough time to prepare something, it's easier to buy a snack than to make it.
At the end of the 19th century new technologies were developed that enabled production of rice deprived of bran. The prices dropped, but so did the level of vitamin B thus effecting in an outbreak of beri-beri - a disease that leads to debility.
The best way to make ourselves feel better in days like these is to exercise or to eat something yummy :). Preferably both!
