Banana bread – post-workout snack

You’ve finished your workout, but you have to wait an hour for dinner?

Here you have some bread from banana and mango, which will help replenish your muscle glycogen and boost energy. You may prepare it in advance and store in the fridge. After your physical activity it will be perfect :).

Put dry ingredients into a bowl, slice bananas and add to the bowl. Do the same with mango – peel and put in the bowl. Add milk and oil, then blend it to be smooth. Finally, add psyllium and stir it.

Put baking paper in a roasting tin and place the ready dough. Bake for 50-60 minutes with hot air at 180ºC (watch it while baking, check with a stick if the dough has proper consistency).

You can add a little bit of ghee butter or homemade jam to taste.
