Cherry Kissel

I adore summer! There’s a riot of color of fresh vegetables and fruits everywhere on the stalls. That’s why my blog gets seasonal and it’s time for cherries in the lead role. The sweetness of this kissel is broken by the slightly sour taste of fruit, mmm … it can’t get any better! Let’s enjoy the benefits of this season, especially the fruit as they will not have as much flavor and nutritional value later as they do now.

Preparation:

I put destoned cherries into a pot and covered them with water, added the remaining ingredients (apart from the flour) and cooked for about 5 minutes. Then I mixed the flour with ½ a cup of cold water and slowly poured it into the pot while stirring. I brought it to a boil and set aside to cool.
