
Christmas Date Cake
It’s no secret I am a huge fan of dates and I openly admit it. I will always keep them in my kitchen and in my purse as a small, energetic snack. This time I decided to show you dates in a slightly different setting – in the form of a cake. Their taste is goes perfectly well with almonds and linseed, resulting in a delicious, sweet cake full of nutritional values, including incredibly important fatty acids of plant origin. Your nervous system will thank you for it and your stomach, full of heavy Christmas meals, will be grateful, too!
Preparation:
I ground the almonds and the flax seeds. I put the dates into a bowl, stirred it agave syrup, oil, plant-based drink and blended until smooth. Then I transferred the mixture into a tin and baked at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
